On November 6, 2021, a meeting of delegations of entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tajikistan and Republic of Austria took place at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Dushanbe.

At the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Sharaf Sheralizoda stressed the need to further strengthen constructive ties between the two private sectors in the areas of renewable energy, green economy, industry, digitalization, modern technology, pharmaceuticals, tourism and other partner areas.

The need to use new modern instruments for the development of economic, trade and investment cooperation, such as investment forums, trade forums and joint industrial exhibitions, was also noted.

At the meeting, Fayzullozoda Khurshed Mirzo, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, together with representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries, presented investment opportunities and exchanged views on establishing direct cooperation using previously unused opportunities.

It should be noted that the event was attended by representatives of more than 60 different companies from the two countries.

During the meeting, the participants were introduced to the interactive portal B2B.tj (entrepreneur to entrepreneur). General Director of State Unitary Enterprise "Tajinvest", Javorhirlal Muzaffari, presented the investment opportunities of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the end of the forum, bilateral meetings of entrepreneurs of the two countries were held in the format "entrepreneur to entrepreneur" (B2B), and issues of trade between representatives of the private sector were discussed.
