From April 21 - 28, a delegation led by the General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Tajinvest" under the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Javokhirlal Muzaffari, together with representatives of the Association of Official Dealers of Car Manufacturers in Tajikistan "ADRIA" visited the People's Republic of China to attract modern technologies and direct investments in the automotive industry.

As part of this visit, on April 24, the Tajik delegation held productive meetings with the Chinese company Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd., during which was signed a Memorandum with the Tajik company Akia Avesto Automotive Industry on the establishment of a joint venture for the production of public transport based on hydrogen technologies in the territory of Tajikistan.

Meetings are also planned with major electric vehicle manufacturing companies such as BYD Co. Ltd., Great Wall Motors Co. Ltd." and Cherry Group Co. Ltd." to attract the latest technologies and direct investments to establish a joint venture for the assembly of electric vehicles in Tajikistan.

This is not only about electric transport, some of the cars will run on hydrogen, more precisely, on hydrogen fuel cells, where electricity is generated, which drives the motor.

It should be noted that in 10 years there should be at least 30 million zero-emission cars in Europe, and by 2050 almost all cars, including trucks and buses, should be environmentally friendly.

Many automakers are developing and even already producing hydrogen models: Toyota (Mirai), Honda (Clarity), Hyundai (Nexo), Mercedes-Benz (GLC F-Cell, rechargeable if necessary), BMW (X5 i Hydrogen Next).
